Are Democrats intentionally postponing for political reasons Ruth Bader Ginsburg funeral which was supposed to take place according to the Jewish tradition within one day?

Ruth Bader Ginsburg spoke up repeatedly of her Jewish religion, of her pride to be a Jew. It is a Jewish Biblical commandment to bury one’s deceased immediately after passing, and it is forbidden to leave the deceased unburied overnight unless it is for his honor (i.e. to perform a proper Tahara, obtain shrouds, arrange for a burial plot, gather family, etc.).

One may not put off the burial unnecessarily, for our sages state that the soul is in turmoil until the body is properly buried in the ground. Therefore, there needs to be a great sense of urgency to complete the burial as quickly as possible.

If the passing occurred in the morning, one should try to ensure that the deceased is prepared for burial and buried before dusk of the same day. If this is not possible, the burial should take place on the following day. Ruth Ginsburg passed away on Friday, September 18th. Her funeral was supposed to take place by Sunday.  https://www.chabad.org/library/article_cdo/aid/367836/jewish/Basic-Laws-of-a-Jewish-Funeral.htm

I am shocked and sickened that her Jewish soul will be in turmoil for a week as it appears the Democrats want to postpone the funeral for a week in order to postpone the nomination of her replacement.

It is shocking to me that the Democrats are talking about her wish  for her replacement to be put on the court after the election, even though the nation needs the ninth tie-breaker vote on the court before the election, as this promises to be a contentious election similar to Bush v Gore and the ninth vote is essential to prevent a National quagmire and a constitutional crisis.   However, the Democrats are not talking about Ginsburg’s life-long desire to live a Jewish life and follow the Jewish tradition. Postponing her funeral for a week and leaving her Jewish soul in turmoil for a week is unforgivable.

Addition to the article. Now the “intellectual pillars” of the Washington Post are calling for a large memorial for Ginsburg-political rally to be held in the Washington Cathedral.

WAPO: TO WIN ELECTION, HONOR GINSBURG AT NATIONAL CATHEDRAL

Yet again, a complete idiocy and insensitivity. This woman was Jewish and proud of her faith. Washington Cathedral is a Christian cathedral. Doing a memorial there is a slap in the face of Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Politicizing her death and turning the memorial into a campaign rally is yet another slap in her face.

You are so correct Dr. Taitz. May the Lord lift her up with His countenance, and make His face to shine upon her.
Rabbi Glazerson, has found in the Bible codes that Donald Trump will be re-elected !!!

    Dear Orly,

I do not understand at all which legal and constitutional consequences follow from the fact of burial: how in the world can burial postpone the nomination of a successor?

In my lay man perception, the fact of death requires the immediate replacement. And also a fact of getting incompetent because of a severe medical condition requires the immediate replacement. What’s wrong with this reasoning?

Democrats have demonstrated, repeatedly, an utter disdain for this nation and are absolutely void of ethics or any semblance of morality. They will use anything, hurt anyone and destroy all in their path to obtain their goal of killing freedom and prosperity. Control is all they seek for personal gain. Many Americans cannot fathom the deep seated seething hatred that democrats have for them, simply because of the need to have them to comply with every whim and give them every cent earned.

I really think these decisions were made by the family. Perhaps the family thought that outpouring of emotion and graditude shown on Friday and Saturday required a larger venue.

A Jewish lady I know responded with the following:

“It’s Rosh Hashannah and Yom Kippur now.

If a Jewish holiday occurs after the first day, that curtails the mourning period. If the funeral occurs during a festival, the start of the mourning period is delayed to the end of the festival. Some holidays, such as Rosh Hashanah, cancel the mourning period completely.”

    What do you think??

I think that the people who handled Ginsburg body is playing you people…

If she is to be handed before the burial, she should be burried today! Not later!

    Who the hell did that?

Was that Pelosi! She playing politics and that dirty little Bitch is messing with her burial!

Do it now! Don’t let that dirty little C*** should not be messing with Trump nor anyone in the WH!

Doesn’t Trump know she supposed to be buried 1 day after she dead! A Jewish way of handling this idea!

Or just take the idea and shorten the idea! To handle the idea!
