After MA judge upheld the ban on 7 countries, a judge in WA temporarily put a halt ob the ban. His decision will be overturned by the supreme court and meanwhile Trump admin will not issue any visas for those countries

Today a judge in Massachusetts refuse to halt the ban on immigrants from 7 countries, known as the hotbed of radical Islam. After the decision in MA, another judge, in WA came up with a diametrically opposing ruling and temporarily stayed the temporary ban.

This ruling is inconsequential and hollow. Trump administration already revoked between 60,000-100,000 visas that were outstanding and they will simply stop granting new visas. They might grant a handful of visas just to say that they granted some.

Moreover, we expect the Senate to use the nuclear option and confirm judge Gorsuch with 51 vote majority. He is expected to get on the Supreme Court by April.  If this case is not dismissed in 3 months as moot (the ban was only for 3 months), then the decision of Judge Robart will be overturned by the Supreme Court.

    Just let these “travelers” stay in customs at the airport and not go any further, green card or not. Judge Robart’s decision is just judicial activism again based only on his political whim.

    WA judge’s order is unconstitutional. It says here in the constitution that Trump has the constitutional right to not allow certain foreigners in the country.

    8 U.S. Code § 1182 – Inadmissible aliens

    (f) Suspension of entry or imposition of restrictions by President

    Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.

    Except that isn’t the Constitution you’re quoting. And SCOTUS has previously ruled that a class cannot be an entire country

    Speedie, this is the reason our courts must be purged of radical hate America judges. I dont care who appoints them. Somewhere along the way they think they make up laws instead of interpreting them.he know Trumps’ order is within the Constitution. He just wishes it wasn’t. Hes a hack.

    What possible basis did the traitor Democrat Bob Ferguson argue on? The US is allowed to have their own immigration policy -period!!

    The POTUS has the job of national security – period!!!

    These traitor democrats will turn us into the England,France and Sweden where there are “No Go” Muslims zones where Sharia rules – where “honor killings” of women are allowed.

    Also, Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell need to start impeaching federal judges like Judge Jame Robart that make rulings inconsistent with the Constitution.

    National security trumps all federal judges combined, Trump and the federal government should ignore the ruling by Robart as it is not based in law and interferes with the separation of powers of the executive branch.
