I’m confused. There are only 314 Million people in America; that includes kids. I think Forbes has a typo; is it 10 Million unemployed? But on page 2 of the Forbes article, it is said that there are “12.8 million unemployed”.
I found it hard to follow Forbes’ math. But I’m not a math girl!
The Forbes article in your link is 3 month old; there is a new link that has very similar numbers. I know you don’t like commenters to post links because of security issues. To find the most recent article, go to your link, just click on the author’s name “Peter Ferrara” and the first article on his list of articles is the most current one. The article is dated May 17, 2012. The article title is “President Obama’s Unemployment Rate Is Stuck At 11%”.
How depressing.
