Putin takes a page from the US invasion of Grenada and gets all of Ukranian navy and the most important Crimean region of Ukraine without firing a shot

Posted on | March 2, 2014 | 2 Comments

How many of you remember a US invasion in Grenada?

In 1983 U.S. invaded a sovereign nation of Grenada and replaced its government. What was the justification for the usurpation of power and presidency in a foreign nation? US claimed that it was justified in invading Grenada because it had to protect American medical students who resided here. How many American students studied in Grenada? My guess, there were a couple of schlemiels and schlimazels who were too dumb to get into any American school. That was the justification.

US reported this as a decisive military victory, but who did US fight? The whole population of Grenada is 91,000. US sent thousands of marines and navy seals. Probably there were more US soldiers involved in this operation than citizens of Grenada, and that is including all the elderly and newborn. (just kidding)

So, Putin is doing the same. He is claiming a military operation to protect Russians residing in Ukraine. Ukraine will have a hard time fighting Russia, as nearly 60% of the population of Crimea are Russians and in general as much as half of the population of Ukraine  are Russians. In a country of 45 million people it’s over 20 million, much more that a couple of dumb medical students in Grenada.

US will have a very hard time explaining to the World community why it was o’k for the US to invade Grenada to protect a couple of Americans and it is not o’k for Russia to respond to the request of the duly elected government of Crimea and the request of the duly elected President of Ukraine to stop an ongoing US/CIA instigated coup and protect 20 million Russians. This is particularly true as the US is supporting Neo-Nazi Banderovzi, who are patrolling the streets of Kiev. So, now with the Ukrainian rear-admiral in charge of the Ukrainian navy, Russia got the Crimean peninsula and the Crimean fleet without firing one shot. Crimean peninsula is important for a number of reasons. Not only it is the home to Russian Black Sea navy and military bases, it is an important key opening the door towards the staites of Bosporus and Dardanelles.

Obama made threats, however those threats ring hollow as UN and EU are not willing and not able to enter into a WW3.    So, after making  threats, Obama is now forced to admit that the only thing he can possibly do, is ask fellow G-8 members to kick Russia from G-8.

To begin with, G-8, as an organization, is worthless, it did not help any nation. This organization only represents the ruling Western  elite, helping the elite to squeeze maximum profits from G-8 nations and their satellites, G-8 was only a detriment to the population of the G-8 nations.

Let’s imagine for a minute that Russia is excluded from the G-8, a group of 8 wealthies and most powerful nations. What will it change? Russia will not become less powerful or less wealthy. What might happen, is that China will leave G-8 together with Russia and will form an alliance with Russia, as it is already in BRICS alliance with Russia, India, South Africa and Brazil.

At issue is the fact that international elite was able to bribe the US government and US Congress and other G-8 Western leaders to relinquish manufacturing of the sensitive military technology to China. As a result a few billionaires made a few more billions, but US and western powers are exposed militarily.

This is the price of corruption and excluding Russia and China might only backfire.

As it is said in commercials: “But wait, there is more”. Now, with serious conflicts in Ukraine, Syria, Venezuela, Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, Iraq and Thailand, Obama makes peculiar scheduling choices.

With the announcement of the Ukrainian Admiral in charge of the Ukrainian navy pledging allegiance to pro-Russian Crimea and Russians taking over Crimean peninsula and de facto taking over all of Ukrainian navy without firing a shot, Obama chose to do happy hour with fellow Democrats, attend a ballet recital, make a dorky exercise video for Michelle and threaten and harass  the Prime minister of Israel for not making peace with Palestinian terrorists. Doesn’ t Obama have more important things to do then have a few drinks, watch ballet and harass military allies?

Right Sector Calls On Russia’s Bin Laden to Fight in Ukraine  Sunday, March 2, 2014 at 12:28 pm – Chechen Islamist has claimed responsibility for attacks on Russian civilians … The ultra-nationalist street fighting group that targeted police prior to the coup in Ukraine, has called for Doku Umarov to fight in a war against Russia.

Umarov, known as the “Bin Laden of Russia,” is a Chechen Islamist who has claimed responsibility for attacks on Russian civilians. According to media reports, his most recent threat was against the Olympics in Sochi, Russia. No terrorist attacks, however, occurred during the games.

Russian media reports the appeal to recruit Umarov was issued by Dmitry Yarosh, the leader of the ultra-nationalist and fascist Right Sector. The group is aligned with other extreme nationalist groups in Ukraine, including “Trident,” Patriot of Ukraine, “White Hammer” and the Ukrainian National Assembly – Ukrainian National Self Defense. Although it is not associated with the largest nationalist political party in the country, Svoboda, it has “a lot of common positions when it comes to ideological questions,” according to Yarosh.

The Voice of Russia reports:

President Yunus-bek Yevkurov of Ingushetia said that with his appeal to the leader of gangsters in the North Caucasus Doku Umarov, the leader of the Right Sector in Ukraine Dmitry Yarosh has confirmed that those who had been gangsters in the North Caucasus were also in Independence Square in Kiev. That appeal puts the Right Sector on a par with international terrorist organizations, he pointed out. He said that he was interested in the West’s response to this appeal because the West supported the new power in Ukraine.

There is a growing consensus in the United States Congress to support diplomatically, economically and, to a lesser degree, militarily the coup government in Ukraine.

Umarov’s connection to U.S. intelligence and the State Department

In April, 2013, we reported on Umarov’s shady connections. According to research conducted by Eric Draitser and others, Umarov’s Kavkaz Center was funded by the State Department and several supporting fronts including the National Endowment for Democracy-funded Russian-Chechen Friendship Society.

The militant Chechen effort to undermine Russia is supported by a number of influential neocons. “Despite the fact that organs such as Kavkaz Center operate in the service of terrorists who advocate the destruction of Russia, their activity alone is not altogether significant if seen in a vacuum,” writes Draitser.

Rather, it is the association of these types of individuals and organizations with the US State Department and US intelligence that makes them particularly insidious.  One such entity that bears scrutiny is the American Committee for Peace in the Caucasus (ACPC), previously known as the American Committee for Peace in Chechnya.  As reported by Right Web at the Institute for Policy Studies, “The ACPC was founded in 1999 by Freedom House, a neoconservative organization that has worked closely with the U.S. government, receiving funds from the National Endowment for Democracy and other U.S. democratization initiatives.”  This intimate relationship between the ACPC and the US State Department indicates not merely a confluence of interests, but rather a direct relationship wherein the former is an organ of the latter.
