We’ve disabled the brakes on your car as well. OH! And remember that man who, ummm… “bumped into you” the other day? You’ve been secretly injected with botulism!

Have you tried “system restore” ?
Click programs , accessories , system restore…then choose a date that is highlighted and follow the directions…It might help…P.S. go back no farther than necessary cause you may lose some of your files that were installed after that date. If the first date doesn’t help try another one father back…Good luck.

I tried, it did not work. The screen went dark. I can see the start with windows 7 hP, I try to go from there and log in, it goes dark. I can only see in the upper dark corner an area where I can see RAMs going to 25% and CPU going from 0 to 29% and then again from 0-29%. It never happened to me before, I am not sure how to fix it

Download Ubuntu 13.04 and click on try it out, Don’t download it unto the hard drive. It will allow you to work your computer without using Windows. It may allow you to fix your computer. The best thing is to back up your hard drive and go to control panel and download a repair disk. When your computer acts up and you want to take it back to create a system repair disc. You will find it in control panel, back up and to the right of the page. I have use it a lot of times. If you have something that you want to delete and it say try again. Put that Ubuntu 13.04 and click try out. When you do this, you’re not using windows operating system, just the files. Bring up what you want to delete and move it to trash. Then sign out of Ubuntu and return to windows and your file will be deleted.

Orly, I’m sorry to see you suffering this way. There are some ugly people in this world, aren’t there? You have a lot of spunk. Let us hope and pray the best for you and that your personal reality be sufficient to ward off these evil and stupid attacks and keep you in top shape and form. May you slay every dragon, madam! Hooray and bravo!

how do I download Ubuntu or anything else, if I can’t log in?

When you first turn on your computer watch it carefully and you will be given info to boot up in safe mode. Then restore the system to an earlier date. You say you can’t log in and that means you probably are trying to boot all the way into windows. You only have a few seconds to select safe mode during start up. It may take a few tries to lean the system.

Orly for win 7 if you press the F7 key during start up the system will boot into safe mode. Press in intermittently or any time before the window logo appears.

Your best bet would be to take your system tower to Best Buy (Geek Squad) and let them look at it for you so you do not do irreparable damage.

Are you running a firewall and anti-virus?

There are several in your area.

I have sent you a email and will do you a favor and send you a copy of Ubuntu, just tell me in your email where to send it. You don’t have log in, just open your DVD tray and click restart, to start the Ubuntu disk.

    F7 worked
I got a message Run DLL
    C:\users\Orly\AppData\Local\Temp\sbvmqtk\svdfwbt\wow.dll
specified module could not be found.
What does that mean? What do I do?

Orly: did you ever get the chance to try: ?

Also, will send you a site/catalog that has an item in it that (supposedly) will clear things up for you. You just insert it in the USB terminal, on the side of your pc-?/laptop-? It’s called (Win).

You also might want to contact the Geek Squad, too, at Best Buy? Will send asap!
