Yes. Because anything some former high school classmate says will make Obama instantly ineligible. LOL

Here is an interview of Barry’s friend Tom T. a member of the “Choom Gang”. A bunch of pot head smoking bums! Barry earned a basketball degree in Hawaii.

Have been doing some researching – will continue later on – – There’s a Marshall Muramoto who was a track and field star at Kamehameha kapalama 1986-1994 – could be related. A donation presentation of nearly $10,000 from Xcel Vice President, Marshall Marumoto to the Friends of the UH Cancer Center-Xcel Skin Cancer Prevention Fund for ongoing skin cancer prevention education in Hawai‘i. – – May 11, 2011 – – – – – – – – – Alan Lum now teaches there and was among those who shot hoops with Mr. Obama. Mr. Lum, in an earlier interview, said he was not aware of “the inner struggle” Mr. Obama depicted in the book. (I haven’t verified if Lum still teaches there – he was teaching in 2007)
“But when you think about it,” Mr. Lum said, “he was trying to define himself as an African-American on a campus where we only had maybe five African-Americans” among 1,600 high school students. [^]
Obama himself managed to be a pretty good student despite all the pot smoking and unconventional study habits.
“He told his Choom Gang mates that the trick was if you put the textbook under your pillow the night before you would perform better on an exam,” Maraniss writes

    Lum – as of LAST UPDATED: 01:58 a.m. HST, Nov 07, 2012
“The last four years have been hard on him, but it’s been the same way for his friends,” said the 51-year-old Lum, a second-grade teacher at Punahou who had trouble sleeping the night before the election. “I couldn’t sleep. When he is hurting, we hurt, too. I feel for him.”
Growing up in Hawaii, Obama developed an inner strength — “an underdog mentality” — that the people of Hawaii embrace, Lum said.

“Resiliency is how you could term his time growing up here,” Lum said. “He was very resilient, and through those times he created some strategies and skills that sway people his way.”

There are some things the president can’t do anymore, even when he comes home, Lum said. He can’t just walk down the street with his children. He can’t hang out at a park or go bodysurfing at Sandy Beach like he did when he was a teenager — like he did during his first campaign.”
