I am asking my supporters to check at the IRS FOIA reading room for any applications from Muslims organizations, were any of them denied and how long did they need to wait for an approval

All applications for 501(c) status that have been approved are available in the IRS FOIA Reading Room in Washington DC. Pretty well known for anyone who reads the IRS publications and notices. |

Are there any Islamic tax-protesting groups?

Read my former comment V-E-R-Y S-L-O-W-L-Y, Orly. I told you that APPROVED applications are available in the FOIA Reading Room.
Unapproved applications cannot be disclosed.

Also, remember that churches and religious bodies are exempt under a different provision of 501(c) — 501(c)(3). So Muslim, Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu congregations go through a different process under (c)(3) that is much shorter than for other types of nonprofits.
The tea party groups applied under 501(c)(4), which requires greater scrutiny because they can engage in certain kinds of political activities (not all political activities, just certain kinds). So you are doing a flawed apples-to-oranges comparison if you compare religious orgs to social welfare/political orgs.
