The Secretary of State already has the ability to validate a candidates eligibility to hold a particular office. They are the top elections official in the State. If they don’t have the ability to safeguard against potential fraud, then who the heck does? The problem is not that we need more laws it is that we have no authority upholding the ones we already have. That has been the problem, not a lack of laws.

Rod Riddle, the problem is the info is swept under the rug. Orly is doing her best to make people face the music. We need to embarrass those on deficit spending. Keep shining the light on their corruption. The longer we wait the worse it is going to hurt to fix it. I smell a rat when some one takes the attitude that it is hopeless.
