From the widow of talk show host Alan Stang. He will be greatly missed by many

No foul play. Just the end of a 10 year symptom free life with prostate cancer.

The Lord was very merciful. It was diagnosed on May 23 and he left us to go where there are no evil pretenders that would do him harm.

His memorial service will be on you tube. Hang in there through the sermon. I was surprised myself by our pastor. Ron Paul would have liked it.

Please let people know where it can be viewed.

Thank you.

Dr. Orly, thank you so much for posting this. I had discovered Alan Stang only last November, right after the election, when I realized that the entire media establishment had let the country down. I was looking for someone who would discuss the truth without any reservation, and I found out about Republic Broadcasting Network and Alan Stang.

I began listening to him and was hooked instantly. His wit, his intellect, and his laser-sharp perception of what was going on in our country were a refreshing change from the entertainers who had been posing as legitimate conservative news and commentary. All winter I sat with the internet radio on during his broadcasts, keeping the woodstove going or running out to get wood during the ads, but making sure never to miss a word.

I found Alan to be a true inspiration to all of us who want the truth to be known. He was fearless and completely honorable in everything he said. I called in a couple of times and exchanged several emails with him.

The first time I called in last January, my epileptic son had been home that day and had a seizure toward the end of the call. I ran into another room so that the sound of the seizure would not be heard on the other end, but unfortunately it was. At that point, Alan politely ended the call, stating that perhaps there was some telephone disruption on my end in a very tactful way.

I emailed him my mortification that day and an apology. His simple answer was, “Don’t be mortified. Please call again. Blessings.”

What a wonderful, Christian man. He blessed me with his understanding and compassion of my situation without even knowing me. That is truly the love of Christ.

I miss Alan terribly, and no one can live up to the kind of show he had and standards he upheld. His talent cannot be duplicated. For the eight short months I listened to him, I learned more than I had in five years of listening to other top-rated radio hosts.

    May he rest in peace.
