Sheriff Arpaio: Obama birth certificate is forgery

Controversial Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio today announced that his investigators believe President Barack Obama‘s birth certificate and Selective Service card are forgeries.

The Arizona sheriff has previously made headlines for focusing a large amount of his enforcement activities on rounding up illegal immigrants and for creating tent cities for inmates.

Arpaio said the long-form birth certificate released by Obama last year appeared to be a computer forgery.

“Essentially the argument they’re making is that the date stamp and the registrar’s stamp on Obama’s long-form birth certificate were imported from somewhere else,” according to National Public Radio. “Their proof for that claim? They said the stamps were on different layers on the document and could be moved freely when opened in editing software.”

Laguna Niguel’s Orly Taitz, who continues pursuing lawsuits challenging Obama’s legitimacy as president and is running for U.S. Senate, commented on her blog, “Arpaio confirms the evidence that I, as the only attorney, submitted to courts, elections boards and Arpaio himelf – there is a probable cause to believe, that Obama’s BC is a forgery.” That’s verbatim as of this posting.

The Washington Times notes that, “The Justice Department has accused Sheriff Arpaio of civil rights abuses within his department, but he said he began his investigation before that — in August 2011, after tea party members from Surprise, Ariz., a town within Maricopa County, signed a petition challenging the certificate.

    Orly,

    It seems pretty clear to me that Obama is using Virginia Sunahara’s birth certificate number.

    Duncan Sunahara has that case on March 7th I think. State of Hawaii has put in a motion to dismiss it.

    Can anything be done to get around that case to pretty much make it certain that the Judge and all others will be tried for treason if they don’t release Virginia’s real birth certificate to her brother?

    Mary..wait………Did I miss this?
    Are you saying that Duncan Sunahara is having to
    fight in court to receive his own sister’s LFBC?
    She is deceased,not adopted for heavens sake!!
    He should be able to walk in,sign the paperwork, pay the fee and walkout with a certified copy immediately!! I have done this numerous times for myself,my husband,daughter and grandchildren and if you go when it’s not busy you can be done in less than 15 minutes
    Even in their response to cases Orly has brought,they list a sibling as being able to obtain copy so what possible reason will they give as to why Duncan can not do so???
