Dear Dr. Taitz:
Thank you for your message. I have not seen the certified letter that you refer to, but perhaps it was addressed to the Secretary of State’s office (rather than to the Election Division) and has not been forwarded to this office yet.
Since I understand your letter to be a request to not certify the name of Barack Obama as a candidate on Indiana’s Democratic Party primary ballot, I am responding accordingly.
Indiana law requires that any challenges to a request for presidential primary ballot placement must be executed on the attached CAN-1 sworn affidavit. Indiana Code 3-8-1-2.
If the candidate challenge is not submitted on the approved CAN-1 form, state law also requires that the filing be rejected. Indiana Code 3-5-4-8.
Indiana law also prohibits filings of election forms (such as challenges to candidates) by use of fax or electronic mail. Indiana Code 3-5-4-1.7.
As a result, if you do wish to file this challenge, the Election Division must receive and file-stamp a completed CAN-1 form (attached) no later than noon this Friday, February 17.
The Election Division’s address is
302 W Washington Street, Room E-204
Indianapolis, IN 46204.
Please note that merely postmarking is not sufficient – any document must be received in the office of the Election Division and file stamped by that date and time.
If you have questions, please advise.

Dear sir/mdm,
I filed an elections challenge and sent it certified mail. I got verification from the US post office, that the certified mail letter was received.  I, also, submitted my elections challenge directly to the Secretary of State Bonnet and immediate past secretary White via e-mail. E-mails were sent twice and received. I never got a response. I request a written response as soon as possible. If no written response is provided, I will be forwarding a criminal complaint to the county, state and federal grand juries, Marion county DA, AG of IN and will be filing a legal action in Marion county circuit court.
Sincerely,
Dr Orly TaitzESQ
