France marks Joan of Arc anniversary

French President Nicolas Sarkozy made a pilgrimage to Joan of Arc’s birthplace in eastern France for the 600th anniversary of her birth on Jan. 6 and delivered a lofty speech that he hopes will improve his soured image in many French minds.

  • A statue of Joan of Arc is seen in the courtyard of French far-right National Front political party

Jeanne d’Arc was betrayed by her own troops, turned over to the English, and burned at the stake. But by that time she had won several important battles, not one, isolate procedural victory that will go nowhere. I don’t think Orly needs to hide the matches.

She is now Orly Taitz of USA

Joan was sold to the English by her own soldiers and was burned as a witch.
