my laptop disappeared during the trip to HI

Posted on | January 8, 2012 | 15 Comments

When I landed in HI, I got  a call from an NBC reporter from Atlanta, who wanted to interview me on SKYPE. When I opened my briefcase, my laptop was not there. I thought, that I might have forgotten it during TSA check, I called TSA lost and found, they never responded. When I arrived in LAX and went to TSA, they said, that it wasn’t found.

It never happened to me before. When I arrived  in HI, I went to FEDEX-Kinkos, I needed to notarize my Pro Hac Vice papers for AL. They did not have a notary, so I walked to a bank, came back, wanted to scan and e-mail the docs, was told that the Internet is down at FEDEX and will be down till the next day. Luckily the Internet was working at another FEDEX. Even my glasses were gone, luckily I had another pair of glasses. I thought that the glasses could’vefallen out of my purse, but the laptop could not fall out. It is a set back, but I will manage. The whole thing added to the level of stress, associated with this hearing, considering that I sent my docs 3 times, just to make sure that the docs do not disappear, so now the laptop disappeared. By the way, I checked the day before the hearing, there was nothing on the electronic docket and nothing stated by the clerk about the hearing for the 26th. Only when the hearing started, judge Nishimura just threw it in, sstating that she will not talk about the subpoena, she will talk about it on January 26, which of course is the date for the hearing in GA. Often judges will automatically enforce out of state subpoenas. For her to refuse to enforce it during the hearing and schedule it for January 26, the day of the hearing in GA, is indescribable.

    You are being followed!

Better travel with a companion. Don’t be naiive. Obama has a bottomless well of taxpayer $$$ to use to save himself.

The Tom Clancy novels are art imitating life.

Someone who knows Obama well, lifted your pc for “discovery” to get at your emails & evidence.

You have to consider the USA AS A GULAG

If you do not have backup personal protection, your wasting your time, health, & legal acumen, You are not serving the BEST INTERESTS OF YOUR CLIENT if your work product, strategy, & evidence disappear, STOLEN BY THE DEFENDANT’S GOPHERS!!

Think outside of the box, Orly!
You cannot protect yourself because TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE!

Could it be possible someone was purposely targeting you with the theft of your laptop?
    I think so.

    Orly,

Never trust anything important with baggage handlers. NEVER. Thousands upon thousands of items are going missing. This is really unfortunate, but highly predictable, especially where you are a target of anything that will cause you grief or set you back in your efforts.

it was in my carry on. The only time I did not see it, was when I went to the bathroom on the plane

You can believe Obama had every thing to do with this. The way he has behaved lately he is very capable of this and more.I have warned people from the start this man would commit treason. I haven`t changed my mind.

If then it was taken whilst on the plane, someone else on that flight would have scanned ON to the plane WITHOUT a lap-top & scanned OFF the plane with a lap-top.

Check if there are logs of the scans of passengers that were on the same flight as you; the logs may be kept for a minimum period.

Can you get a passenger list?

My phone is bugged by Obama and he hacks my website with all his Kenyan records and videos so obviously Obama had an agent on that plane and stole your laptop. His 3 gay boyfriends in Chicago were shot to death so Obama is very dangerous having been trained to be a communist and atheist by the Russian Academy of Sciences which they revealed in 1992. Obama never attended Columbia Univ as he was in Moscow during his alleged Columbia U sojourn. No one at Columbia ever met him there or was in a class with him as he is a big liar having been born in Mombasa, Kenya.

Orly you should get someone to help you encrypt critical files with TrueCrypt for security.

The idea for online backup is a good one. Rush has a company advertising this service on his show. However, beware that if Obama’s goons were able to hack into your online email accounts and web web site, they might find a way to get into that too.

Consider installing a lo-jack application/feature on your laptop. Many vendors already offer this option. Essentially, if your laptop is stolen or lost, they have the ability to locate and recover it.

    Dr. Orly,
Think. You contradicted yourself. You said that you thought you might’ve forgotten it during a TSA check. You then called them.
Then you said it was in your carry on and the only time that you didn’t see it was when you got up to go to the bathroom on the plane. Which is it? Did you see it on the plane, cuz you said that you did, so what was the point of calling TSA if seeing it on the plane comes after getting checked by TSA agents, Right? You see, I’m losing ya.
