Having read Mr. Amani’s post, I feel duty bound to enlighten readers about three facts germane to his comments.

1. There was no real choice in the recent Iranian elections. Their Guardian Council must approve any candidate. Mousavi could not be a “reformer” or he would not have been approved by the Guardian Council. It’s called controlled opposition, the same thing we have in this country: Republicans v Democrats, but the difference between the two is marginal. That left the vile Ahmadinejad.

However, how many Americans know anything about Mousavi, the so-called “opposition candidate?” 

Mir-Hossein Mousavi is known as the Butcher of Beirut. Mousavi’s hands drip with the blood of more than 240 U.S. Marines killed in Lebanon as well as being targeted as the man behind the 1988 truck bombing of the U.S. Navy’s Fleet Center in Naples Italy, that killed five people; one was a U.S. Navy personnel. In other words, Mousavi is a known mass murderer of Americans.

Retired Navy Admiral James “Ace” Lyons was Deputy Chief of Naval Operations back in 1983. Lyons is known as the “father” of the U.S. Navy Seals Red Cell counter-terror unit and was plugged into who was doing what in that region. Adm. Lyons knew all about Mousavi and so should the American people because they have been cheering on the Iranian people as they protest against Ahmadinejad in the hope that a “real change” candidate would take over. What they have cheered for is a butcher responsible for slaughtering U.S. Marines.

FT: Would Iran agree to suspend uranium enrichment if you were president?

“Moussavi: No one in Iran would accept suspension.”

FT: And you would not accept it, either?

“Moussavi: No. The problem is that we had a bad experience with suspension. It was first done [2003-2005] to discuss issues and remove suspicion but it turned into a tool to deprive Iran of having access to nuclear technology. There is a bad memory in this regard.”

2.  Mr. Amani also states: “Democracy, by its accommodating and benign nature is susceptible to corruption and even destruction by forces from within and from without. With this realization in mind, the founding fathers of your country enshrined the constitution to safeguard and protect the rule of the people.”

These united States of America is not and never has been a democracy. “Our democracy” is one of the most repeated lies in this country.

Fisher Ames, a founding father said:  “A democracy is a volcano which conceals the fiery materials of its own destruction.  These will produce an eruption and carry desolation in their way.”
 
Benjamin Rush said; ” A simple democracy is the devil’s own government.”
 
John Adams said:  “Remember, democracy never lasts long.  It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself.  There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide.”
 
James Madison, called “The Father of the U.S. Constitution,” said:  “Democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention, have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property, and have in general been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths.”
 
Democracy is mob rule. 3. Mr. Amani says, “I am reminded by the words of our great President Abraham Lincoln when he, in 1863, described our nation as “a government of the people, by the people, and for the people.”
 
Abraham Lincoln hated Africans and routinely called them the N word. Lincoln wanted all Africans deported out of the country. He cared nothing about the slaves. Lincoln damn near destroyed this country and the U.S. Constitution. These are historical facts that cannot be denied no matter how many lies are pumped into the heads of school children everyday in this country. Repeating a lie will never make it truth.
 
Thomas DiLorenzo has spent years exposing the lies about Abraham Lincoln. He has proven through historical research that the cult followers of that despicable man have done their best to prevent real, documented history from the American people. I have read his books which are thoroughly researched and foot noted.
 
In one of this columns he also upsets the Lincoln followers with a superb writing about another book, Forced into Glory: Abraham Lincoln’s White Dream, written by an African American icon who shreds the “legacy” of Lincoln and exposes him as the racist he was. I have read Mr. Bennett’s book DiLorenzo writes about. So should you.

To idolize Lincoln or speak favorably of his actions is to deny documented history and Lincoln’s open racism.

    Yeah, that’s why everyone couldn’t wait to migrate to the United States in the 1800’s to now until the economy collapsed. That’s why all religions and nationalities have prospered greatly here. That’s why the African Americans are free and many are wealthy-as well as every other nationality. That’s why Jews have found the United States a safe haven at least until recently. That’s why many African Americans carry the last name Lincoln, and nearly none move back to their nation of heritage. That’s why legions have come here to educate and take their new-found hi-tech world back to their native land. That’s why America helps in charity all over the world. That’s why America sends its men into the meat grinders of foreign war.

    This is not heaven and Devvy has a cynical and jaded view of the world. Devvy needs to move to her country of choice not to include the U.S. or Israel. Talk about a double agent. Anywhere there is hate, pain, prejudice or the choice to demoralize, call Devvy.

    I’m not excusing the realities Devvy describes but she is a troublemaker. I hate all the sin that abounds and it troubles me deeply. But trashing what has been a great and Christian-Judeo country for the Cains (as in the bible) and their evil doesn’t speak for all the suffering lived to try to make this country better.

    Our leaders, Congress, Courts, Business, and Society are stuffed with corruption, no doubt. Try working to solve the crisis by not demoralizing our ancestry. Go out and do right, serving others. Then report how bad everyone is once you realize the suffering and pain hidden behind many golden human hearts.

    Devvy is making a huge mistake with respect to Mr. Imani’s article. Imani is a patriot and loves America. Imani never said anything about Lincoln hating Blacks. What does that issue have anything to do with Imani’s quote? Devvy does not realize that America is a representative democracy. We send our representatives to congress. We elect them democratically. Yes, America is a republic, that what representative democracy means. Davvy needs to have her facts straight.

    Confusion. Why create confusion? What does Lincoln (1800’s) have to do with the present situation in the White House? All the propaganda and confusion to distort the mind and remove thoughts that are important to moving forward with removal of BO. You want propaganda…watch TV–any station. You’ll find it there at all hours. If you want that stinking BO removed from the White House, use your intellect towards that purpose.Ancient history, you can do nothing about now to change that.
