This week, the U.S. State Department will hold public meetings in Nebraska to discuss the proposed Keystone XL pipeline route. I requested these meetings earlier this year so the State Department would hear firsthand the thoughts and concerns of those along the route. I’m not opposed to oil production or pipelines, but I’ve said all along that TransCanada chose the wrong route. I encourage those of you with opinions on the matter to attend one of these meetings to share your views.
