Hey,  – This is pretty bad stuff.  Especially how they are working out tax assessments to property owners to pay for UPD ‘services’.  This is a long read, but comprehensive.  More Agenda 21 – public/private partnership crap.  And, of course, it’s all spun by the media to sound like a great thing for all the serfs who just got stiffed.  I wonder if Jackie has seen this.
 
Newly elected Sheriff dissolves County Sheriff’s Department and replaces it with a brand new corporation described as “…responsible for all police operations”. This private company is called the “Unified Police Department” (UPD). To add to the treasonous nature of this takeover, this elected Sheriff was then appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the UPD by the County Council, and this private corporation is now in charge of all law enforcement within the whole county.

The (UPD) became the “new police force” for all municipal corporations (cities) and all unincorporated areas within the County of Salt Lake, thereby dissolving the only true lawful protective body within the county, the elected Sheriff’s “Department“.

This, it turns out, is a national phenomenon that is indicative of the federal takeover of local and state law enforcement – the “Federalization” of all police in the country.

    Actually, I think Obama is “losing it” and fast. His handlers have to keep him out of the country and away from possible exposure of his mental incompetence. He’s appearing stoned with eyelids drooping, writing the year 2008, and babbling nonsense.

    How is the power behind the throne going to keep their agenda moving forward? They need a surrogate signing mechanism, while they trot Obama out every now and then to prove he’s still “in control.”

    The story about UPD is all wrong. It is a joint partnership between the county and the municipalities. The local governments jointly own all equipment.

    I read in a paper recently that in Waterloo, Iowa, the law enforcement or sheriffs dept. was passing out some kind of “gift cards” for either food or gas, IF they would turn in their “guns!”

    Like up to $150 dollars, give or take? And with all that’s going on…this is getting serious now! Which means that everyone reading this needs to make contact with their local law enforcement depts., sheriffs depts. to see that they aren’t able to get away with this!

    Although…my state has gone from a “May issue a permit” to “Will issue a permit!” So that may have some bearing on your local area?!
