Sarkozi is not Mitterand or D’estaing, but rather a De’Gaulle of our times. Thank god for that!

In the last few years or I should say a few decades France was known as the land of rather forgettable leaders. During the times of Valery Giscard D’estaing and Francois Mitterrand US French relations cooled down and France was rapidly becoming a far left socialist state with weak economy, rapid islamization and National pride at an all time low.
A new leader came along: Nicolas Sarkozy, and we see a real change. French economy is undergoing metamorphosis, it is much more lean and mean. A number of bills are passed to improve national security. Recent French decisive attacks against bloody Libyan dictator Qaddafi show that Sarkozy is really built in the mold of great general Charles De’Gaulle, who was a staunch US ally during WW2.
As geo-political map of the Middle East is reshaping, and not in our favor, with friendly governments, like one of Hosni Mubarak-falling and unfriendly, ruthless dictators, such as Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Muammar Qaddafi staying, today it is extremely important for US to show leadership and to work in concert with decisive leaders of Europe both on the international anti-terrorism front, as well as economic front. After the dull drums of the last decade, we are seeing a brotherhood of much more decisive European leaders: David Cameron in England, Anjela Merkel in Germany, Nicolas Sarkozy in France, Silvio Berlusconi in Italy, Benjamin Netanyahu in Israel. Even Russia shows a sharp turn towards free market economy and resolve to fight radical Islam and International terrorism. Vladimir Putin is definitely not Leonid Brezhnev. I believe that Europeans are realising that the policies of unbridled free trade with China and other third World countries, such as India, Indonesia, Brazil, ended up destroying European economies and brought Europe to the brink of the economic disaster and lack of security. It is time for US to elect a leader, who will be part f this brotherhood. So far, the only candidate for 2012 presidency, who articulates need for tariffs on outsourced products, in order to stimulate US job production, is Donald Trump. I believe that with Trump’s background of both military academy and Wharton school of business, he is the best candidate to turn around the economy and bring jobs to US, as well as bring back national pride and security. I don’t know, if he will run for sure, he stated that he will announce his decision in June, but as of now, he is the only candidate, who has a real plan to bring back American jobs to 30 million unemployed and underemployed, cut the insane debt of 1.7 trillion per year incurred by the antiamerican usurper Obama and provide strong National security.

Sarkozy is taking over world leadership. Our POTUS is busy with NCAA basketball brackets and vacationing in Rio.
