Phil is a joke and not to be taken seriously. To start with, it is : “All your base are belong to us”. A perfunctory search of Yahoo or Google would reveal this and any sixth-grade hacker would quote this correctly. Second, he has a WebTV address. Nobody except low-breed, trailer dwelling morons use WebTV. Third, any hacker worth his salt doesn’t tell the world they’re planning something “really big”. They just do it. Phil, put down the banjo and get out of Gramma’s double-wide and get some sunlight. Comment from Orly: this is pretty funny. Only thing I can add, that the person hiding behind the e-mail address “midnight cat1982” is reportedly in Beirut, Lebanon, also hiding behind the proxy server. he is not holding a banjo, but rather a hokkah and a glass of arak. Hence, peculiar use of English “all your base are belong to us”. Even someone, like me, for whom English is not the first language, can tell it is written by a foreigner. Unfortunately, our Department of Homeland security is allowing such foreigners with nefarious goals to come into this country. Recent discovery of the lone bomber in TX is a testament to that. |
Does anyone know, who is this jerk, that took over the pseudonim Davey Crocket instead of the person, who used this pseudonim before? |

Orly, “all your base are belong to us” is an Internet meme which originated in a Japanese computer game that was badly translated into English.
Just ask Wikipedia for crying out loud.
So it’s not the hacker’s bad language, it’s common hacker slang for “I am / will be in control of everything you own”.

“All your base are belong to us” is an internet meme based on a bad Japanese translation from the video game ‘Zero Wing’.
Itchik is correct in saying that the people who use memes like this are often kiddies who live on 4chan. I would say Phil’s interloper is a 15 year old loner that has a cool room in mom’s basement filled with neon posters and a blacklight.

Orly:
FYI: “”All your base are belong to us” (often shortened to “All Your Base”, “AYBABTU”, or simply “AYB”) is a broken English phrase that became an Internet phenomenon or meme in 2000–2002. The phrase came about as the result of the spread of a GIF animation[1] that depicted the slogan. The text comes from the opening cutscene of the 1991 European Sega Mega Drive version of the video game Zero Wing[2] by Toaplan, which was poorly translated from Japanese. It was popularized by the Something Awful message forums.[3]” (Wikipedia)

The phrase “All your base are belong to us” is from a Japanese video game back in the early 90’s.
It was a bad translation and for some reason the saying caught on, probably because it was quite comical. This is a well known saying the geek world of computers and gaming.
The guy could actually be a hacker in his 30’s or even 40’s. Since most young computer geeks are not into politics I wouldn’t think he was too young. More than likely he is not a foreigner, but an American.

Orly:…yes, it appears that someone from afar has decided to “smear” this friend of mine, Phil, Davey Crockett, and the midnightcat…! I know this man and he would never “foul” up your site!
And itchik, not all webbers are low-life trailer-trash! Some of us just don’t want to pay all that money out, while the webber has some great features! And don’t want a hard-drive that can be accessed by everyone, including “Seti”!!!!
Friend, Patriot…
