While much of America was caught up with the political intrigue of the recent elections a most grave and alarming event occurred, 30-miles off the coast of Los Angeles. The incident I reference was the mysterious and completely unexpected firing of a large Cruise or ICBM missile, launched by a sub-surface aquatic platform. This incident is further momentous and fraught with peril due to the defense systems and protocols in place that should have caught the sub sitting out there in the first place, not to mention when an object went airborne. Adding an ominous dimension to this already very disturbing event, I fear our national security is truly threatened by a weak man posing as Commander-in-Chief, and who has demonstrated limited problem-solving ability. What scares me more is the absence of leadership at the highest levels in the Pentagon.
What America saw on commercial TV was a missile launch, and this same image was captured by NORAD, immediately assessed by a variety of military experts and simultaneously passed forward to a four-star General, who then made almost instant contact with the President. This IS the system; the protocol in place and practiced frequently – for just a moment like this. There is no excuse for failure; it is NOT an option. NORAD and the assessment/response system are one of the most critical missions and tenets of National Defense and its sole purpose of protecting the American people. Any mistake, any deviation from protocol, any cut corners or casual response, any failure in the system and the most intense review from the highest level is initiated, as well as discipline and even removal from status or position can occur.
Twenty-four hours a day, every day, a team of approximately 150-highly qualified and selected professionals, led by a Brigadier General in conjunction with one of the most sophisticated computer and reporting systems in the world is fed data from different sensors able to detect “missile shots” from any point on the globe. An unknown missile launch directly off the coast of America would have automatically triggered a well scripted National Security response by NORAD informing the Commander-in-Chief. The decision to officially announce that North America was not threatened and all the excitement was due to an aircraft leaving a contrail is a decision that reaches beyond the four-star General level and goes directly to a decision made by the Commander-in-Chief. This is also part of the system in place which can not be altered.

Mr. Obama continues to deceive WE THE PEOPLE, choosing to keep the American people in the dark on an issue that constitutes a real Clear and Present Danger. It is quite understandable why Americans view most of what comes out of our government’s official statements as well intended deceptions, purposeful misinformation, or conversely, muted with no explanation. It is equally understandable why so many believe there are actually conspiracies at work within our government to keep Americans confused and mind controlled. Other country’s leaders have assessed Mr. Obama as morally weak, conflicted, and with the results of these recent elections, politically lost. What staggers the imagination is what motivates the military by going along with such deviousness? Where are our military leaders who have sworn to defend the constitution? I know they are better than this, and in their own private clubs, they must be ashamed and perplexed. I pray they are because that would signal they still have a conscience at work within them, something Mr. Obama does not appear to possess.
Intel chatter suggests China sent a shot across the bow of America to signal their growing displeasure, and even anger, at Mr. Obama and associates for messing with the world’s economy. China already owns a lot of American property for investment and collateral reasons, and no longer wants to be paid in fiat paper U.S. currency. China, as other Asian countries, is reaching a boiling point with Obama and crew at their out-of-control addictive spending and the continued march to collapse the dollar. China also showed the results of their devoted GDP spending on sophisticated defense procurements (subs, missiles, etc.). China, and the world, knows Mr. Obama has moved quickly to dismantle America’s proud military, and now there are hush talks around the globe that America may not be the strong lion it once was; still one to view with caution but not to fear as in years past. The Chinese were not afraid to come and sit 30-miles outside of Los Angeles and deliberately “turn the key” and release one of their “birds”.
Mr. Obama’s weaknesses, lack of knowledge and understanding of American Heritage and values, ability to make Command Decisions and remain with them, his announced views that America needs to be brought down from her unique status, all empower our enemies to not only fight us thousands of miles away, but to test our resolve just off our own shores. Not only our military is at risk fighting and maintaining the peace all over the world, but now Americans in towns and cities are at great risk.
We may have just seen the beginning of a new “Cold-War” with China; not that we are out of the woods with Russia, North Korea, Iran, Cuba, Venezuela, and other hot-spots. I wonder what we will be forced to give up to keep China happy?

You would have thought Mr. Obama and the others’ who share his radical ideologue beliefs would talk far more straight to the American people after November 2nd; would not have continued their practice of deception and 60’s-era intimidation. The people in power are determined to bring America to her knees, and collateral damage is acceptable. So…if dismantling the U.S. military will help achieve their goal, all the better; if ruining this Nation’s economy will help change us into a deflated America, all the better; if creating a “man-made” incident will do the job, outstanding. To tell the American people what took place off the beaches of southern California several days ago will require restoring military budgets, something these thugs do not want.
Forcing Americans to subject themselves to humiliating acts in airline terminals keeps the people preoccupied, and away from focusing on the growing dangers and real flash-points beginning to surround our country.
WE THE PEOPLE have a right to expect Congress and our military to defend us from ALL enemies – foreign and domestic. We no longer expect that of the person posing as Commander-in-Chief and Defender of the Constitution he has stated needs to be altered if it is to be used at all. So will you defend us Congress…will you defend us Military? If not, then we have even far more serious and ominous problems than that which cleverly slipped in close to our shores.

Yes, this was confirmed yesterday on another website, Stand Up America, US. This is for keeps folks and Obama is in way over his head. Consider this, if China owns most of our debt, don’t you think they are concerned in the preservation of their capital investment? They just might decide to take ownership of several key properties to secure their investment. They have already hacked into our computer systems, that was probably just a test. With the White House now “wearing” the solar panels on the rooftop, it would be a good target for a heat seaking missle.
The test is for Congress to act with lighting speed after the first of 2011 to protect our interest’s at home first and foremost. Obama’s removal from office will just be part of that immediate test.
I pray that they are up for the task ahead. The fate of our country hangs in the balance.

This law would also give the U.S. government the power to arrest any backyard food producer as a felon (a “smuggler”) for merely growing lettuce and selling it at a local farmer’s market.
It also sells out U.S. sovereignty over our own food supply by ceding to the authority of both the World Trade Organization (WTO) and Codex Alimentarius.
It would criminalize seed saving, turning backyard gardeners who save heirloom seeds into common criminals. This is obviously designed to give corporations like Monsanto a monopoly over seeds.
It would create an unreasonable paperwork burden that would put small food producers out of business, resulting in more power over the food supply shifting to large multinational corporations.

Ya know, Starla, I’ve read S. 510, the Food Safety Modernization Act, from end to end — twice — and cannot find those provisions you posted about. Would you be kind enough to point out the section number in the bill for the proposal to outlaw backyard food producers and also the section number of the provision that criminalizes seed saving? Much appreciate it.

P.S. Starla, do you have an opinion on (1) the bill’s provisions regarding monitoring of the effectiveness of pathogen controls in the manufacturing, processing, packing, or holding of food, and (2) the definition of ‘preventive controls’ as it relates to an allergen control program?

Oh, and one other thing. That provision that places all food production under the authority of the Department of Homeland Security — would you mind citing that section, too? I can only find the part that directs the Secretary of Agriculture to CONSULT with the Department of Homeland Security in promulgating regulations to protect against the intentional adulteration of food (i.e., poisoning of food supplies by terrorists).
