It’s a signal honor — just in being considered as a nominee. Congratulations.
Is there an address where we, your ardent supporters, might send supportive testimonials?

What a great honor and a 50,000 Euros prize. That should help the cause.

Hello Again Mrs. Taitz. Thanks again for all of your tireless work.
Can I ask, is there a specific reason for this prize? If it is concerning your work exposing Mr. Soetoro, that would mean the Europeans are implying they also believe you are doing GOOD and truthful work in exposing the lies of Mr. Soetoro. Im wondering if that is how we can take this?

Can you give us a link? All I can find is this: “To recognize outstanding leadership and/or achievements of scientists in upholding human rights. The Prize consists of $10,000 and an allowance for travel to the meeting of the Society at which the Prize will be presented. It is intended that the Prize be awarded every other year, at a general meeting of the American Physical Society.”
The 2012 prize has been awarded and nominations aren’t open yet for the next time.

Gretchen,
The website has not listed the 2012 recipients yet but here is last years winner (I am not thrilled about who they gave it to last year though)

The Sakharov Prize for freedom of thought, named in honour of the Soviet physicist and political dissident Andrei Sakharov, has been awarded by the European Parliament every year since 1988 to individuals or organizations that have made an important contribution to the fight for human rights or democracy. The prize is accompanied by an award of €50,000.
(50,000.00 EUR = 61,212.35 USD)
The prize
The Sakharov Prize is intended to honour exceptional individuals who combat intolerance, fanaticism and oppression. Like Andrei Sakharov himself, all the winners of the prize have shown how much courage it takes to defend human rights and freedom of expression.

Last year’s winner imparts a jaundiced view of this award–it appears to have been hijacked like the Nobel Peace Prize was. Anything meritous, omnipotent and divinely effectual has been hijacked by by this type of people who seem to know nothing about…long term successful and benevolent societies except how to overthrow them by infiltrating their legal systems. These characters rove about the earth imparting fear to anyone who would oppose them. In the end, they will fast run out of societies like the United States who is so brick stupid as to allow its own downfall while funding their methodology.
