Texas tea
Two Texans are likely to be featured prominently in a cable documentary premiering this week on the Tea Party movement.
According to a news release from MSNBC, Rise of the New Right will be hosted by Chris Matthews and profile “the spectrum of the New Right,” including Dick Armey, the former House majority leader from Denton, and Alex Jones, an Internet radio host from Austin. Others who were interviewed for the hourlong show: Orly Taitz, unofficial leader of the so-called birthers, and Rand Paul, who is Texas congressman Ron Paul’s son and recently won the Kentucky GOP Senate primary.
The documentary premieres at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
