Press Release
from Law offices of Orly Taitz
Tomorrow at 9 am attorney Orly Taitz and friends and family of reporter Debbie Tharp will be at Orange County jail at 550 N Flower street, Santa Ana, California, bailing out Debbie from jail.
Just a few days ago Debbie interviewed doctor and attorney Orly Taitz in relation to Taitz’ s run for the US Senate and massive corruption in the government and in elections was discussed. One of the issues of the conversation was abuse of power and usurpation of citizen’s constitutional rights by governmental officials and judges, as well as usurpation of state rights by the federal government.
Today Debbie needed help. She was arrested and jailed for exercising her First Amendment rights, while she was peacefully gathering signatures for a petition to change an ordinance in the city of Costa Mesa. Ms. Tharp was standing at a large parking lot, which was shared by multiple stores. Petition in question dealt with lifting of recent ban on medical marijuana dispensing in Costa Mesa.
Citizens of the state of California voted and made medical marijuana legal in the state of California. While some may agree or disagree on medical marijuana, nobody disagrees on two points: medical marijuana is legal in California and first amendment right to Free Speech is legal in California too, or it should be legal.
What is most important is that Debbie exercised her most cherished right, right to free speech, and did not deserve to be thrown in prison. Moreover, though medical marijuana is legal in California, the federal government flexed its’ muscle and usurped the state’s 10th amendment rights and cracked down on all of medical marijuana dispensaries. Some city councilmen simply used the federal government to go around the will of California voters.
While not everyone feels that medical marijuana is worth fighting for, one thing is clear: Freedom of speech is worth fighting for. State rights are worth fighting for. Debbie is worth fighting for. Please, come to Santa Ana jail tomorrow at 9 am to show support to jailed reporter Debbie Tharp.

Under state rights… shouldn’t the COUNTY SHERIFF have STOPPED the FEDS from entering Ca. to violate Ca. LAW? Isn’t the SHERIFF equipped with the STRONGEST law enforcement authority over the FEDS ?
If the sheriff has the authority to BAN the feds from making ARREST in Ca. without the sheriff’s permission… then the SHERIFF didn’t do his JOB of PROTECTING the Ca. citizens rights to have medicinal mirajuana while the FEDS violated the 10th amendment by overstepping the sheriff;s authority.
Is the SHERIFF the controlling authority in this matter ?

Will you be representing her?

What does sheriff MAC have to say about this ? Sheriff MAC won a SUPREME COURT case over the FEDS intrusion into his area of authority didn’t he ?

Boy…this is a new one! Orly please keep us up-to-date on this. And let us know who complained? Why? Who had her arrested?
Wow! First, Ca. people are liberal as heck; now we see them being very narrow-minded and they squeek when they think!!!
Does this look like a “wrongful arrest” suit coming up? If so, I hope you and Debbie eat ’em up!

Was she arrested for trespassing? This makes no sense otherwise.
