Currently, Trump is in a statistical tie with Clinton in the swing states of FL and OH (she leads by 2% in FL and 3% in OH)

If Donald Trump wants to beat Hillary Clinton, he needs to win these 5 states

USA TODAY  – ‎2 hours ago‎

To beat Hillary, Trump needs to flip only 3 states, which Obama carried with a razor sharp margin in 2012

Posted on | May 4, 2016 | 1 Comment

To get to 270 electoral votes, Trump needs to flip only 3 states which Obama won to add to 206 electoral votes won by Romney to get to 270. Here are the numbers on 7 states where Obama and Romney were very close. Flipping just 3 or 4 of them will give Trump the presidency:

1 Florida. 29 ev (electoral votes).  Obama won 50/49 where only about 70,000 people separated the candidates

2.  Ohio 18 ev. 50/49  Also, about 100,000 people separated candidates

3. VA  13 ev 51/49

4. PA 20 ev 52/48

5. WI 10 ev 53/47

6. MI  16 ev 54/46

7. CO 9 ev 51/49

So, for example, Trump flips Florida, which is his second home and where he is greatly loved, and flips two rust belt depressed states, such as Ohio and Pennsylvania. We take 206 of Romey’s electoral votes and add 29 for FL, 18 for OH and 20 for PA, we get to 273, more than Trump needs to win the presidency. There are several such combinations. NV and CO are currently at play and GOP is looking to win senatorial races in those states as well. WI has a very strong GOP apparatus, MI has a GOP governor, who will help, as well as GOP governors of FL. OH, WI, NM .

Trump does not need to win all 50 states, he needs to flip only 3 or 4 states won by Obama to be the 45th US president

Who will be Trump’s VP? A pick of Senator Jeff Sessions is a good insurance policy against any attempts of assassination or impeachment of Trump

Posted on | May 3, 2016 | 10 Comments

Now, as Trump became a presumptive GOP nominee, the question arises: who will be his VP pick.

There are two routs Trump can go. First rout is designed to gain the votes of the typical Dem constituency: women and minorities. There are several possible candidates to do that:

  1. Governor of New Mexico, Suzanna Martinez, will bring more women’s and Hispanic votes into the fold
  2. Former congresswoman and current successful governor of Oklahoma, Mary Falin-women’s votes
  3. Former Secretary of State, Condoleeza Rice-women’s African-American votes
  4. Senator Joni Ernst-women’s votes
  5.  Congresswoman Mia Love, women’s and African-American votes, though I believe, Mia Love is not experienced enough for the role

While these five women will help Trump with women’s votes and some will help with minority votes, I believe that Trump would prefer to pick Senator Jeff Sessions of Alabama as his VP. Sessions is ideologically and politically the closest to Trump. He has been a successful prosecutor and a very successful and very respected GOP Senator. He is the best patriot in the Senate and he spent decades fighting for American jobs. Most importantly, if Trump picks a globalist puppet as his VP, our ruling globalist mafia will be very tempted to get rid of Trump through assassination or impeachment. With Sessions as his VP, there is no incentive to assassinate Trump, as Sessions is as much of an American patriot, as much of an America -first guy as Trump.

My guess is that for the next two and a half months, until the July 21st convention in Cleveland, Trump will work very hard to increase his lead over Hillary to a comfortable margin, so that he will not need a VP to attract a specific group. Based on how he is doing close to the convention, Trump will decide whether he will pick a woman, an ethnic candidate or someone he really likes, someone who is the closest to him ideologically, someone who is the best insurance policy against assassination…

On June 23rd Britain might leave EU

Posted on | May 4, 2016 | 1 Comment

YouGov, Ipsos Mori, ORB, ComRes, Survation and other pollsters are keeping track of voters’ intentions for the referendum on Britain’s membership of the European Union – but will they get it right?

Are the UK polls pointing to Brexit or remain?

David Cameron has set the date for the EU referendum as June 23 – and set out on the campaign trail to persuade the nation to vote In.

With key Tories including Boris Johnson and Michael Gove part of the Leave campaign, the Europe question has split the Tory party.

The country is also divided, with polls suggesting the decision over Britain’s future inside or outside Europe will go to the wire.

After the unexpected result in last year’s general election, there is a healthy scepticism about whether polls give an accurate picture.

This is what they have been saying so far…
