7th US Congressman, Peter Roskam from 6th Dist. of Illinois (Bloomington) has joined my group of friends. That’s wonderful

This man represents Central Illinois, about 100 miles Southwest of Obama’s Homeplate in Chicago, Illinois, a straight shoot down I-55 (Stevenson freeway) toward Representative Aiken’s District in St. Louis—are we filling in the map and closing in a key front in the Midwest Heartland of America/Land of Lincoln and “Show Me” states…

Dear Dr. Orly-I’m from Chicago, just so you know Cook County (cesspool of corruption) in no way represents most of us from Illinois. I grew up in DuPage (suburbs mostly) Mid-West conservative, leaning a little liberal. It is usually called in Illinois Bloomington-Normal. This area is mostly farm country, where most of the nations corn comes from, very big agricultural area. If the Republicans where very smart they would join with you and put up a great big fight over the Obama issue. They are forgetting there are 18+ Hillary Democrats with no home. If we are anything anymore we are Blue Dog Democrats (how I wish they would join you). Politically I think I am a moderate and lean a little left, or right depending on the issue. The Republicans have a big chance here. I hope they don’t wimp out and blow it, somebody needs to restore any kind of honor and dignity to our government. We moderates are really in the soup, seems like nobody wants us.

Don’t count on Republican Congressman Peter Roskam (IL) I just got a letter from him–in his words,
“Though I am aware of information being spread over the internet indicating that the President was born in Kenya and is thus ineligible to serve in our nation’s highest office, these rumors appear unfounded…
(I simply asked him what documents he has seen to verify the eligibility of the president-he continues)
“In October of 2008, the director of the State of Hawaii’s Department of Health affirmed Mr. Obama’s 1961 birth in Hawaii and indicated that she had personally seen and verified Mr. Obama’s Birth Certificate.
In December of 2008, the United States Supreme Court denied an appeal seeking to challenge the then-President-elect’s eligibility without comment. No Credible evidence to contravene these conclusions has been produced, causing both Congress and the Judiciary to view this speculation as without merit.”
I am so disappointed with my congressman, Peter Roskam, I thought was an honest man.

Additionally, Roskam just sponsored a bill that will ruin the businesses of small farmers. He is in the tank for the lobby’s just like all of them–a coward.

Roskam’s district includes the western suburbs of Chicago (mostly DuPage County). His district does not include Bloomington.
