Farm Bill just passed in the House. So happy to see work requirements included. Big win for the farmers!

    This is great – a much needed immigration bill.  Our wonderful farmers need legal immigrant seasonal workers.  This bill will be similar to the “braceros” bill that was in place in the late 50s and 60s, the one I’m familiar with in the CA central valley.  Also, with a farm worker’s bill in place, there will be much less pressure to allow other illegals in who take good jobs from Americans, i.e., hospitality, medical, manufacturing, meat and poultry packers, etc.
