Dear Senator Hatch:

Please strongly oppose the nominee, Ms. Elena Kagen, advancing to a lifetime appointment on the U. S. Supreme Court.

First, a little background:  Even after having been given ample opportunity to hear the case on its merits, nobody in our present judiciary has heard the issue of eligibility of Mr. Barack Obama for the office of President of the United States on the merits.  Even your own office skirts defining the criterion of “natural born citizen” by leading your constituents to believe mistakenly that one need be only a citizen.

In one of her cases challenging Mr. Obama’s eligibility, Dr. Orly Taitz alleges that he wrongfully uses a social security number ostensibly issued by the State of Connecticut although he has never lived in that state.  Dr. Taitz served notice of this matter on Ms. Kagen in her capacity as Solicitor General, and Ms. Kagen has not investigated.

Along with all that has been said recently about Ms. Kagen’s lack of judicial experience, please add this matter of performance in office as a reason to oppose her as a new member of the court.  We cannot depend on Ms. Kagen to even investigate criminal activity in office if doing so is inconsistent with her politics.  I hope you will see that she has a chance to explain why she has done nothing to look into the matter of Mr. Obama’s social security number.

Are the likes of Ms. Kagen someone we want serving in a lifetime appointment in the highest court in our land?

Certainly not.
